Dr. Kimberlyn Baughans is the founder and director of Next Step Education & Career Coaching and Consulting, LLC, where she empowers adult learners, professionals, and career changers to take the next step with clarity and confidence. A U.S. Army Veteran and lifelong educator with over 20 years of experience, Kimberlyn specializes in reading and literacy, dissertation coaching, imposter syndrome support, and guiding adults back to school or into new career paths.

With a Doctorate in Reading and Literacy, a Master’s in Professional Writing, and certifications in educational leadership and mental health, she brings both expertise and empathy to every coaching session. Her approach is personal, purpose-driven, and rooted in the belief that people don’t just need information—they need growth experiences.
